Valhalla Can Wait – A Mead Release Event in Support of
Operation Reboot Outdoors

JULY 1st, 2023 | 3PM - 6PM
1043 High Street, West Gardiner, Maine
RUN AMOK MEAD would like to draw your attention to a very special mead release for a very special cause. Operation Reboot Outdoors is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps veterans, active-duty service members, and law enforcement re-integrate into civilian life, by connection them to the outdoors here in Maine.
On Friday, June 30th, RUN AMOK MEAD is releasing “Valhalla Can Wait” in support of Operation Reboot Outdoors. 10% of the sales of this award-winning mead will go to support this worthy organization.
Valhalla Can Wait has also in its time been drunk in honor of a loved one’s suicide and so it seemed appropriate that this be the mead that we offer to you in support of Operation Reboot Outdoors, with deep appreciation for their service to our veterans, 22 of whom commit suicide every day in these United States.
Please help us help them! Join us Friday 4-7, Saturday 2-7, or Sunday noon to 5 for a tasting, a pour or a bottle of Valhalla Can Wait. On Saturday we will also have Music for Military from 3 to 6; on Sunday the Court Jesters will be playing from noon to 3.
On Saturday we will hear from Travis Robinson, the veteran beekeeper who provided the knotweed honey that went into Valhalla Can Wait. Travis is a living testimony to the value of the service and the camaraderie that Operation Reboot Outdoors provides to veterans. We are optimistic too, about a visit from the force of nature behind Reboot, Dan Waite.
Join us at Run Amok Mead – 1043 High Street, West Gardiner, Maine on
Friday, June 30th – 4 PM - 7 PM
Saturday, July 1st – 2 PM - 7 PM
Sunday, July 2nd – 12 PM - 5 PM
RUN AMOK MEAD
Run Amok Mead is located in West Gardiner, Maine where we make mead on the new moons and the full moons, fermenting the most delicious and delightful ingredients into amazing taste sensations, aligned with ancient tradition.
OPERATION REBOOT OUTDOORS
Operation ReBoot Outdoors is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that concentrates on getting veterans, law enforcement officers (LEO’s), and service members out of the house and into nature by providing healing through hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreational activities. If there is a veteran or LEO who served honorably or is currently serving our country who needs a reboot then they qualify for our services. We are thankful for our opportunity as veterans, volunteers and Registered Maine Guides to help other veterans rediscover their true north.
